5 exciting summer events for the adventure seeker

With summer right around the corner, everyone is making plans to maximize their fun. From music festivals, to hiking spots and hidden beaches, we at Jones devised the perfect list of coast to coast adventures to embark on this hot season!

1. Rolling Loud Miami

From July 22 to July 24, this major music festival with the hottest artists out will be held in Miami, Florida. Headliners include Kanye West, Future and Kendrick Lamar, who all have/will be dropping new albums in the coming months. 2. US Open of Surfing

The U.S. Open of Surfing is the worlds largest surfing competition held every year in Huntington Beach, California. The Open features competitive surfing from over 300 of the worlds top surfers, a perfect event for those with an adventurous spirit. The competition will be held from July 30, 2022 - August 7, 2022.

3. New York Pride

Established June 28, 1970, the New York City Pride March was founded commemorating the Stonewall Riots taking place a year earlier. NYC Pride is one of the largest pride festivals in the world, with tens of thousands of participants and millions of spectators yearly! The 2022 celebration of love, freedom and empowerment of the LGBTQIA+ community will be held the week of June 26th.

4. Lollapalooza Chicago

From July 28 to July 31, music stars including Metallica, Green Day, J. Cole and Doja Cat will be performing at the annual lakefront Lollapalooza Music Festival in Grant Park, Chicago. Tickets are available here.

5. Marfa Lights Festival

Last but not least, the 35th Annual Marfa Lights Festival will be held August 12, 2022 in Alpine, Texas. This event is perfect for any nature lovers who want to experience pure bliss and relaxation while admiring a landscape you only see in the movies!
